In 1987, a few community members in Healdsburg, California, met to discuss the dream of forming a group to share their love of singing. With a modest gathering of twenty people, a name was chosen, rehearsals began, and the first concert was performed a year later.
After twenty years, the chorus has grown to include 52 devoted members. The original director, Betty Zukov, and accompanist, Susan Nelson, are still at the helm.
In addition to our spring and fall concerts performed in Healdsburg, we sing regularly at Sonoma County wineries, Farmers’ Markets, the Salvation Army, and retirement homes. We are frequently invited to participate in local events and enjoy being a part of Sonoma County’s musical life.
